Herbal Supplements
Native Pharm, an herbal supplement retailer, approached EnviroStar to help encapsulate the active ingredients from their holistic plants and aromatic root extracts in order to create a line of men’s health nutraceutical products.
The challenge in developing a spray drying formula for nutraceuticals, such as Native Pharm’s Wild Cherry Tree Bark, Mondia Whitei Root and Fadogia Agrestis Stem, is finding the right proportion of ingredients to process it effectively while maintaining functionality and quality.
EnviroStar’s extensive background in the nutraceutical industry and formula development allowed the team to create a cost-effective process that protects Native Pharm’s functional ingredients from light, temperature, oxidation and more by encapsulating the plant extracts in a combination of polymers to create an easy to digest, water-soluble supplement.
CBD Beverage Mix
When Oileaf, a well-known CBD Hemp processor, wanted to add a water-soluble beverage to their product line earlier this year, the company reached out to several vendors in the search of an ingredient supplier. By combining EnviroStar’s Peak Powder and ready to use PREMIX including sweetener, natural color and delicious flavoring, Oileaf found the perfect solution to launch an ultra-fast acting CBD lemonade powder.
It wasn’t just the right ingredients that led to this growing collaboration, EnviroStar’s responsive customer service sealed the deal. Oileaf had bought some ingredients to test and ran into some implementation issues. After a couple customer service calls, EnviroStar Owners Clint and Tina Buchner traveled to the client’s lab and solved the problem. “We were told ‘you have customers for life’ after that visit,” Tina said. “That’s what it’s all about for us. Helping customers in any way that we can to introduce products that benefit the health and wellness of their customers. That’s how we make an impact.”
Since launching the powdered beverage mix, Oileaf has sought to expand the product line to include stick packs and rip sticks with the help of EnviroStar. By blending their experiences, Oileaf has also helped the EnviroStar team understand the nuances of the east coast market.
Therapeutic Tea
Numerous studies have shown that tea can boost your immune system, fight off inflammation, and even ward off some cancers and heart disease. There’s plenty of evidence that regularly drinking tea can have a lasting impact on people’s health and wellness.
When a well-known therapeutic tea supplier wanted to powderize their traditional steeped tea and expand their product line to include an instant beverage pack, they approached Envirostar to help with formulation development. EnviroStar rose to the challenge and replicated the flavor profile without losing the tea’s therapeutic properties.
